Nancy Carol Masters, 83, passed away peacefully in her home after a long illness on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Born December 10, 1937 in Adeline, IL. Daughter of Edward Joseph and Alice Mae (Martin) Hayenga. United in marriage to Albert Masters on November 10, 1956 in Loves Park. He predeceased her on December 11, 2007. Lifetime member of First Assembly of God Church. Nancy loved to read her Bible marking her favorite passages throughout, tending to her flower gardens, cooking especially spaghetti and baking cookies, watching John Wayne movies, sewing in her younger years, playing cards and board games. She was a small town girl that loved to live in the county. Nancy together with family loved traveling to various states for camping. She also loved going to Disney World in Florida, California and Mississippi every year to visit her sister.
Survived by her children, Michael (Yvonne) Masters, Wanda (Steve) Boone, Dennis (Julie) Masters; grandchildren, Jake (Hayley) Masters, Alex Masters, Crissy (Chris) McCullough; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Bentley, Madison Bentley, Brice Boone, Kyla Boone, Jaden McCollough, Jozlyn McCullough; sister, Cindy Hayenga; special dog, Tommy; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents; spouse, Albert; daughter, Theresa Masters; siblings, June Tucker, Beverly Janssen, Bonnie Hayenga, Virgil Hayenga, Ronnie Hayenga.
