

Nicholas K. Pulliam age 53, born to Mary Lou Lincoln and Bobby D. Pulliam in Newport News, VA on February 20, 1961. Died on January 5, 2015 in Rockford, IL. Loving son, brother, father, and grandpa. Nickolas loved to cook and always be outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt, and anything that had to do with being outside, even if it was a chore. Nickolas had been a chef for more than half of his life, he was the most amazing cook. His dream was to own a restaurant. He loved music and going to concerts, Frank Sinatra was his hero. Nick was a very down to earth person and could put a smile on anyone's face. He was always there to lend a helping hand. Nickolas was a member of the Roscoe, IL VFW horseshoe league. He was extremely loved by family, friends, and anyone he had crossed paths with, he is and always will be missed and loved. Predeceased mother Mary Lou Lincoln, father Bobby Douglas Pulliam, step father Leo Grimmet and brother Charles R. Pulliam. Surviving daughter Shannon N. Pulliam, son Nicholas A. Idell, brother Bobby D. Pulliam, granddaughter Ripley K. Idell, grandson Hunter A. Nighswonger, nieces Kristina M. Pulliam, Jessica M. Pulliam, and nephew Lincoln Pulliam. We would also like to give a special thank you to Scott and Valorie Conrad and the whole Conrad family. Funeral services will be at Sunset Funeral Home at 8800 North Alpine Rd Machesney Park, IL 61115 on Monday January 12, 2015 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
