Olive Mosbach

Olive M. Mosbach, 90, of Rockford, passed away peacefully at home with her loving daughter by her side, on Saturday, June 25. Olive was born on March 11, 1921, in LaSalle, she was the daughter of C.J. and May Martin. Olive worked at Westclox in LaSalle, then at Electrical Utilities in Chicago doing secretarial work until she moved to Rockford. She married Ben Mosbach on June 7, 1942. Olive was a member of Rockford Women’s Club, The Republican Women’s Club, and the Christian Women’s Club. She is survived by her daughter; Jill Mosbach of Rockford, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her special little angel, Oliver. Olive was preceded in death by her husband Ben R Mosbach, her parents, and her sister Lois Kaiser. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, at 2 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park, 61115. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of services. Entombment will follow the service in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
