Patricia L. Byes

Patricia L. Byes, 82, of Stillman Valley, passed away surrounded by family in her home on Sunday, March 26, 2017. Born December 11, 1934 in Sycamore, IL. Daughter of Glenn and Mildred (Ferris) Fell. Raised in the Lindenwood and Monroe Center area. United in marriage to Bill Byes in 1956 and together they shared 60 years. Member of Faith Center Church in Rockford. She had a heart of Gold and a positive outlook on life. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren.

Survived by her loving husband, Bill; children, Jan (Kevin) Dyal, Jodi Jones, Jason (Zipporah) Byes; grandchildren, Sarah Dyal, Brian Dyal, Kendall (Marlon) Calvert, Taylor (Mark Ferguson) Jones, Erin (Erik) Gorzynski, Dan (Paige) Byes, Jordan Byes; Noah Nelson, Sierra Nelson, Josh Nelson, Marriah Nelson; great-grandchildren, Paityn Jones, Addilynn Jones, Malakai Calvert, Arabella Bentley, Blake Gorzynski, Josephine Byes; sisters, Elaine Dyal, Brenda (Andy) Anderson. Predeceased by her parents; one sister; six brothers.

Funeral Service at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 31 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park. Visitation at 9 a.m. until time of service. Pastor Don Lyon will be officiating.
