Patricia L. Manning

Patricia L. Manning, 77, of Machesney Park, passed away April 6, 2015 in her home surrounded by her family. Born March 11, 1938 in Rockford; she was the daughter of John and Thelma (Faulkner) Joesten. She married James Hobart Manning on September 24, 1960 in Belvidere.

An amazing and loving Mother, Grandmother, and friend; Patricia enjoyed gardening, cooking, collecting Oriental Art, and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren.

She is lovingly survived by her children, John (Mary), James (Sahara), Julie, and Jeffery Manning; grandchildren, Chase, Dylan, and Joshua Manning and Devin (Robert) Persson; great-grandson, Wyatt Manning; sisters, Joann Joesten and Shirley Reichwein; brothers, Donald (Dorothy) and Ronald (Rosalyn) Joesten; numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents; husband; and brother, Fred Joesten.

Funeral service 10 a.m. Friday, April 10th, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park. Visitation will commence one hour prior to service. Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be submitted at sunsetfhmemgardens.com
