Patsy M. Finch, 82, of Loves Park, IL, passed away peacefully, Tuesday morning, November 29, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 27, 1940 in Fairfield, IL, the daughter of Sebern and Edna (Standerfer) Jones. Patsy married the love of her life, Dean C. Finch, on August 22, 1958 in Rockford, he preceded her in death in 2004. She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Belvidere. Patsy was a homemaker who adored her family, went on to receive her CNA certification, and worked for Northern Illinois Hospice. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Patsy was the bright light in our lives who will never dim.
Patsy is loved and missed by her children, Pamela Finch, Bev (Steve) Hollis and Steve Finch; grandchildren, Henric (Shannon) Nance, Elliot Nance, Ian (Emily) Nance, Alisonn (Doug) Dunkin, Kayla (Fred) Moore and Jennifer (Chris Burke) Finch; great-grandchildren, Madilyn, Brynlee, Aubree, Makenna, Bryson, Autumn, Freddy and one great-grandchild due in February; four sisters as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dean, one sister, two brothers and one niece.
