

Pauline Kolesky was born on February 7, 1942, the daughter of Frances (Mammen) and Laurence Schott, Dixon, IL. Pauline graduated from Dixon High School (1960) and Swedish American Hospital School of Nursing (1963). She married Raymond A. Kolesky on September 8, 1963. He preceded her in death on May 3, 1998. She was an active member of New Milford United Methodist Church and especially loved teaching children’s Sunday School and singing in the choir. She was a 4-H leader of the Rockfordettes 4-H Club for 15 years. Her nursing career served her well for 44 years. She was a nurse at Swedish American Hospital, a nurse for Dr. Victor Spear for almost 20 years, a nurse for Dr. Craig Rogers, an industrial nurse for Ingersoll Milling and Barber Coleman. Pauline retired in 2007 from Swedish American Member Services Coding Department. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and traveling.
Survived by mother, Frances Schott, Dixon, daughter Dawn (Chad) Empereur, Roscoe and grandchildren: Sean, Michaela and Lucas, sisters Beverly (Paul) Wiemken and Carolyn Dystrup and brothers, Gary Schott and Philip (Sandy) Schott, and many special cousins, nieces and nephews including Tina Hencey and Greg Langham along with many wonderful friends: Nancy Hillman, Sharon and Curt Bliss, Lori Froehlich, Ann Thompson, Janice Couch, Marilyn Peterson, Marilyn Klotz, Mary Ann Strote, Mary Lou Nyman, Joanne Broege, Pam Gagliano, to name but a few.
Preceded in death by her father, husband and daughter, Kimberly Lynn Kolesky, cousins, Sherrie Langham, Michael Langham, Steven Langham, sisters-in-law, Betty Seymour, Mary Schott, brothers-in-law, Ralph Kolesky, Andrew Dystrup, aunt, Jeanne Zarr, uncles, Gilbert Zarr, Ray Mammen, Lloyd Schott.
Memorial Service to celebrate Pauline’s life will be 11:00 am Saturday March 19, 2016 at New Milford United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens on Saturday at 2:30 pm. Condolences may be sent to www.sunsetfhmemgardens.com
