Phillip Hill, 66, of Machesney Park passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 27. Phillip married Joyce Ann Lovelady in Rockford on February 13, 1965. Phillip attended Hilltop Ministry Center. He was a member of Tri-State Snowmobile Club. Phillip loved spending time with his granddaughters, fishing, old cars, and motorcycles. Phillip is survived by his sons; Mickey Hill of Machesney Park, and Rickey(Diane) Hill of Loves Park, his granddaughters; Kayla and Jenna Hill of Loves Park, sister; Dorothy Staten, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Joyce, son; Jeff, granddaughter; Megan, and 4 brothers. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 2 from 5-7 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N.
