Richard “Radar” Louis Picchi of Tampa, Florida, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on October 19, 1949, the son of Anthony and Mary (Maculan) Picchi.
A United States Army Veteran and long time resident of Florida, Richard loved sailing out in the open ocean, off the coast of Florida.
His survivors include his mother, Mary R. Picchi of Rockford, his sister, Patricia J. (John) Henninger of Garden Prairie, and his nephews, Todd (Kristine) Cloyd of Loves Park and Randy (Kerry) Cloyd of Rockton .
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Anthony A. Picchi
