Richard "Rick" L. Brummett

Richard “Rick” Brummett, 66, of Machesney Park, Il. surrendered to his battle with cancer on Friday, June 24, 2016. Born June 8, 1950 in Haiti, MO. to John and Mary (Milliken) Brummett. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He married Kathy Mumma and together shared 46 years while raising their son. Rick worked as a machinist for Eclipse for over 25 years. He enjoyed showcasing his talents on the golf course with his regular golfing buddies. He appreciated the companionship of a good fishing pole and his culinary skills assisted in the delight of his tasty catch. Rick was a champion of bowling, partnered with his perfect 300 score. He found comfort being surrounded by his family, especially the grandkids and his dog, Patches.

Survivors: mother, Mary (Bill) Sumner; wife, Kathy; son, Chad (Amy) Brummett; grandchildren, Austin, Tricia, Kamryn, Anistyn; brother, Steve (Sang) Brummett, Jerald Brummett; many nieces\nephews; dog, Patches. Predeceased by father, John.
