Robert “Bob” E. Veit, 77, of Rockford, passed away May 31st after a sudden illness. He married Kay M. VonDerVellen on January 21st 1961. Survivors include his wife Kay, son Dale, daughters Dawn (Steve) Lamaster, and Brenda Veit, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, twin brother Bill (Barb) Veit, brother Richard (Joyce) Veit, and sister Lois (Will) Allen. Predeceased by parents. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday June 6, 2012, 11:00am at St. Patricks Church, 2505 School St. Rockford IL. With visitation prior, from 10-11am at the church.
