Robert Kryder, 93, of Loves Park, Il. died Sunday, July 24, 2016 after injuries sustained from a fall. Born in Freport, IL. to Esther Joslin. In 1948 he married Kathryn Michel, who preceded him in death. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. He was part of the history, landing at Normandy and active in the Battle of Bulge. He served his community as a volunteer Fire Fighter for North Park Fire Dept. He worked as a tool and die maker for over 30 years at Anderson Bros. He was a member of St. Bridgets Church.
Survivors: sons, Neil (Marlene) and Richard (Julie) Kryder; grandchildren, Leslie (Chris) Vining, Jon (Anna) Kryder, Jennifer (Peter) Ratkovic, Kayla Kryder, Jared Kryder; six Great-grandchildren. Predeceased by mother, wife, son, David Kryder.
