Robert D. Latham, 69, of Machesney Park, Illinois, passed away February 11, 2026, at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford. Robert was born on December 20, 1956, in Rockford, to Billy and Wilma Latham. He attended Jefferson High School and went on to work at Pepsi Co. in the greater Rockford area for 42 years prior to retirement.
Robert’s true passion was cars. He looked forward to walking through car shows and driving his 1964 Classic Olds Convertible.
He is survived by his daughter, Tracy (Derrick) Brinkmeier; grandchildren, Dustin and Daniel Brinkmeier; mother, Wilma Latham; sister, Susan (Ron) Melcher; brother, Donald Latham; half-sister, Anna (Jerry) Latham-Struven; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; ex-wife, Lisa Ivansco.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy.
