A member of Rockford Masonic Lodge #102, he was a past Master and Emeritus Chaplain. Robert retired from Rockford Products after 27 years of employment.
He enjoyed golf, photography, and having coffee and doughnuts at Doughboys Doughnut Shop with his friends.
Survivors include his special friend, Dell Peterson; caregiver and friend, Mary Lou Mann; 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, and one sister.
