Robert R. "Bob" Warren, 81, of Loves Park, IL, formerly of South Beloit, IL, passed away peacefully, Friday evening, June 9, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 21, 1941 in Downsville, WI, the son of Grant and Lorraine (Trealoff) Warren. Bob graduated from Harlem High School and went on to proudly serve in the United States Army and was stationed in Alaska. He met Lana Martin in church and married on August 15, 1975 in Loves Park, IL. He was a faithful member of Concordia Lutheran Church, where he served as treasurer and elder and helped build the existing building. Bob was a bricklayer for many years as an independent contractor and member of the bricklayer union. He was a diehard Chicago Bears fan. Bob enjoyed gardening. He was a talented craftsman. Bob was a loved family man who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He had a sharp sense of humor that will be missed.
Bob is loved and missed by his wife, Lana; children, Shawn Warren, Dorrena Jo Warren, Allen Warren, Donna (Tony) Camilli and Thomas (Carolyn) Warren; grandchildren, Benjamin Warren, Nicholas Warren, Amber and Leigha; great-grandchildren, Mikey, Brody, Declan and Zoey; siblings, Larry (Cindy) Warren, Brad (Vickie) Warren, and Howard (Dawn) Warren; sister-in-law, Chris Warren, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Ronnie Warren and Gary Warren.
