Roger S. Clemons, 87, of Rockford, passed away July 19, 2020. Roger was born in New Auburn WI, on March 12, 1933 to Samuel and Ethel Clemons. Growing up Roger enjoyed working on his family’s farm. He went on to serve his country in the United States Army, during the Korean War. His dedication and work ethic continued into his work at Sunstrand CO in Rockford for many years. Roger enjoyed spending his time gardening, wood working, and was an avid reader. Above all Roger loved his family, he was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He spent 58 years in loving marriage with his wife Rachel.
He is survived by his loving wife; Rachel Clemons, their children; Maria (Ed) Coffman, Dan Clemons, and Heidi (Patrick) Urban, as well as 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
He is predeceased by his parents; Samuel and Ethel, as well as his son; Joseph Clemons.
Services for Roger are private to family, and cremation rites accorded.
