Ryan D. Borgmann, 30, of Rockford, passed away peacefully, Thursday morning, February 14, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at UW Madison after a long illness. Ryan was born March 27, 1988 in Rockford, the son of Homer and Julie (Hanson) Borgmann. He graduated from Jefferson High School, class of 2006. Ryan worked at TIY, now known as Top Cut Comic. He was a true gamer, who enjoyed Pokemon and Dungeons and Dragons. Ryan had a passion for Marvel movies, especially the Hulk. He was an avid Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs fan. Ryan enjoyed playing and dealing poker. He will truly be missed.
Ryan is loved and missed by his parents, Homer and Julie; paternal grandmother, Laura Borgmann; aunts, Susan (Jeff) Mcgee, and Teresa (Ivan) Messerschmidt; cousins, Kyle, Christopher, Angela, Jennifer and Michelle; as well as his furry children, Liam and Lola. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lester and Patricia Hanson; paternal grandfather, Marvin Borgmann, and aunt, Kathy Lammi.
