Sally Ann Bergstrom, age 88, of Machesney Park, Illinois passed on Monday, May 11, 2026. Born on September 26, 1937 in Rockford, Illinois to Charles and Alverna (Bolen) Lamb. Sally married the love of her life, Bob Bergstrom, on February 3, 1979, in Rockton, Illinois and they spent 29 wonderful years together before he passed in 2008. She was a member of St John’s Church. Sally enjoyed going golfing and bowling. She was an avid sports watcher, she loved rooting for her favorite teams, the Chicago Bears and Cubs. Sally also enjoyed going on car rides with her family, whom she loved most of all.
She is survived by her children, Bobbie (Karen) Sanders, Debbie (Mike) Seward, Diane Sanders, and Brenda (Mike) Kaltenbach; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and brothers, Henry Lamb, Robert Lamb, Raymond Lamb, and Richard Lamb.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Bergstrom; parents, Charles and Alverna Lamb; and siblings, Charles Lamb, Alwilda Lamb, Kenneth Lamb, Gerald Lamb, and John Lamb.
Private family services. Burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
