Samantha “Sam” E. ( McGrew) Falash, 37, of Lake In the Hills, IL. died of a sudden illness on Saturday, January 14, 2017, with her family at her side. A life well celebrated, Samantha, was the heartbeat of the family, she raised her children in a home filled with love. Born February 12, 1979, in Rockford, IL. to David and Cynthia (Libby) McGrew. Sam worked as a tax specialist for several financial institutions. In 2011 she married Anthony Falash. Samantha had an outwardly wonderful personality with a big heart that she shared with everyone and every living creature. She enjoyed showcasing her talents in baking with her signature cupcakes, always beautifully decorated. Samantha embraced the time spent together with her brother watching movies, TV trivia challenges and quotes. Samantha, loved everything and never used the word hate. Surely her tenderness came for her love of “Hello Kitty”.

Survived by parents; husband, Anthony; children, Emily (4) and Chloe (2); brother, Robert McGrew; best friend, Danielle Watson and cousins, Michele Vance and Melissa Larson. Predeceased by sister, Lisa Kelly McGrew.
