Sandra "Sandy" D. Blaine

Sandy married her childhood sweetheart, the boy next door, Frank William Beadnell, and together they had three sons. Although they divorced in 1969, they remained close friends throughout their lives.

In 1981, Sandy attended a single parents' mixer where she met the love of her life, Rex Dean Blaine. The connection was immediate, and the two were married just two months later. Together they shared more than four decades of love, laughter, and adventure until Rex's passing on April 2, 2025.

Sandy was a hard worker from a young age. In her early years, she worked at the local Five and Dime, decorating store windows and working in the stockroom. She helped prepare Sunday service programs for the Presbyterian Church, worked at a truck stop, and even sold newspapers. Over the years, she worked at National Lock, Blue Star Potato Chips, and Woodward Governor. Later, she built a successful housekeeping business, cleaning homes and local offices until her retirement.

A free spirit at heart, Sandy loved camping, gardening, and spending time outdoors. She enjoyed reading horoscopes, baking, theater, and searching thrift stores, flea markets and garage sales for hidden treasures. Her favorite color was green. Some of her happiest moments were spent relaxing on her patio by the pool, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the beauty of a quiet afternoon.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Jeannette Horner and Maurice Horner; her husband, Rex Blaine; her first husband, Frank Beadnell; her sons, Gary Beadnell and William “Bill” Beadnell; her sister, Nancy Mountz; and her grandson, Kenneth Kelley Jr.

Sandy is survived by her son, Robert Beadnell (Deborah); her grandsons, Joseph Bonavia (Kim), Ryan Beadnell (Sophia), Rachel Caudel (Kyle) and her granddaughter-in-law, Jelica Keller; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Harper, Izaiah, Kensley, Luca, Jada, Bech, Madelyn, and Mason.

She will be remembered for her strength, her adventurous nature, and the many stories she collected along the way. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A small private graveside service will be held for Sandy.
