Sandra Dorff

Sandra Kay Dorff, 83, of Roscoe, IL, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2022. She was born in Canton, Ohio September 20, 1938, to Edgar Ray Gordon and Barbara Bostwick Gordon. She graduated from Lehman High School (Canton, Ohio) in 1956 and attended Heidelberg College (Tiffin, Ohio). She was married to James R Dorff for 10 years to which they had one daughter. She worked for various places in Ohio until she moved to Chicago, IL while employed by Price Waterhouse Coopers. After her retirement, she moved to Roscoe, IL to be closer to family. During her life she enjoyed her pet cats, playing bridge, singing with her A Cappella group Sweet Adelines, watching football, fine dining, eating chocolate, and above all, spending time with her daughter and granddaughters.

She is survived by her daughter Betsy Kerstetter (Tim) of Loves Park, IL, granddaughters Molly McAffee and Carly McAffee, of Loves Park IL, and brother James Bostwick Gordon (Kathy) of Kamuela (Waimea) on the Big Island of Hawaii. She is predeceased by her parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as several aunts and uncles.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, September 9th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home located at 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park, IL 61115.
