Sandra A. Vallance, 77, of Rockford, IL passed away October 27, 2021. She was born on December 13, 1943 in Centerville Iowa to Chester and Dorothy Millburn. Sandra was a loving mother, and a talented crochet artist. She was also an animal lover, and an avid volunteer within the Rockford Community. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her children; Donnie (Susan) W. Vallance of Rochester, PA and Darlene S. Vallance of Machesney Park, IL, her mother; Dorothy L. Bennett of Winnebago, IL, siblings; Dixie D. Lancaster of Rockford, Sharon K. Gillespie of Houston, TX, and James (Irene) C. Millburn of Powersville, MO, as well as 1 grandchild and 2 great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Winnebago County Animal Shelter or the North Suburban Library.
A Funeral for Sandra is scheduled for Thursday, November 4th at 2pm at Sunset Funeral Home. Located at 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park IL 61115. A visitation will take place at 1pm until the time of service.
