Scott T. Bergstrom, 76, of Roscoe, IL, passed away peacefully, Wednesday evening, June 10, 2026 surrounded in love by his family. He was born September 3, 1949 in Rochester, MN, the son of Archie and Mary (Halstead) Bergstrom. Scott served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He met Marilyn Nagel in Fond Du Lac, WI and they were married September 28, 1973. Scott owned and operated Bergstrom Skegs from 1976 to 2019. He enjoyed bird watching and spending time outside. Scott will be remembered for being a loving, funny and social man who will forever be missed.
Scott is loved and missed by his wife of 52 years, Marilyn; daughters, Elizabeth (Jason) Kaiz and Amanda (Matt) Swanson; grandchildren, Brendan, Talia and Lukas; sister, Kathy Blaha; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents and brother Gary Bergstrom.
A private burial will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to a charity of your choice.
