

Shannon J. Vaultonburg, 46, of Roscoe, lost her long courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, July 3, 2016. Born August 8, 1969, Rockford, IL. Daughter of Cynthia McDougall and Bob and Gina Moseley. Married Daniel Vaultonburg on November 28, 1997 in Gatlinburg, TN. Employed by Hoffman House for over 20 years. Shannon loved to be by the beach and have anything to do that involved water. Traveling to somewhere warm was a must. Shannon had many talents that involved thrift store shopping and reselling. If you asked her to find something for you she could find it. No project was ever to challenging for her. She loved to read and obtain new knowledge and it was a lifetime journey for her. She was very humble, selfless and always put everyone before herself. She was very proud of and active in her children’s lives. She kept day to day life as normal as she could.
Survivors include husband, Daniel; children, Jordon, Amber, Nic, Molly; parents, Cynthia McDougall and Bob and Gina Moseley; siblings, Mike (Valerie) Stone, Teresa (Jason) Mallo, Bob (Tina) Moseley Jr, Shawn (Gail) Moseley; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her grandparents.
