SHARON SHIRLEY GRIMMETT, 68 PARAGOULD, Ark. - Sharon Shirley Grimmett, 68, of Paragould died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, in her home. Born Aug. 4, 1942, in Chicago to Fredrick and Eleanor Rieske Davis. Former Rockford, Ill., resident until 1984 and also Doniphan, Mo. She was of the Catholic faith, enjoyed sewing, computer games and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include daughter, Laurine (Chris) Frayer of Paragould; brothers, Terry Davis of Packwauke, Wis., and Roger Davis of Rome, Ga.; father, Fredrick Allen Davis of Lake City; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Predeceased by mother, Eleanor Rieske Davis; husband, Buck Grimmett; and son, John Grimmett. Service at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at Sunset Funeral Home, Machesney Park, Ill. Interment in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at St. Mary's Parish Hall in Paragould, and from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, at Sunset Funeral Home in Machesney Park.
