Sharon D. Lindquist

Sharon Dee Lindquist, 80 of Loves Park, Il. died Thursday, June 22, 2017. She was born September 29, 1936, in Rockford, IL to Roy and Verna Wikstrom. In 1956 she graduated from Rockford East High School. Sharon was married to Jerry Nelson, father of her three children and then Married Dennis Lindquist in 1967 . Sharon worked at Arachnid for 10 years. She loved doing yard work, traveling, reading, word search puzzles,watching her Lifetime/Hallmark Movies and just being with family and friends having a good time.

She loved being a grandma- and great-grandma and was very proud of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a very special bond with her grandchildren, Clint and MaKayla Nelson.

Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey (Pegi) Nelson, Todd (Amy) Nelson; sisters, Barbara (Richard) Hill , Terri (Glenn) Solfest; grandchildren, Jeffrey Nelson, Jr., Brooke Nelson, D’Anna Nelson,Clint Nelson, DeLisa Nelson, and MaKayla Nelson; great grandchildren, Jeffrey Lee and Cydney Nelson, Viviana and Venelope Lupercio; nieces, Sara (Keith) Medick, Dana Ogden and nephew, Rodney Hill; grandnephews, Brant and Connor Kuppe, Peter, Matthew and JP Medick and special family friend Dolores Hogeland.
