Suzanne Hardy

Suzanne Lorraine Hardy, 75, of Rockford IL passed away January 29, 2021. She was born on July 1, 1945 in LaSalle IL to Lester and Lorraine Heintz. Suzanne was an avid reader, and she enjoyed all genres of literature. She loved getting lost in a good book. Suzanne was a talented crochet artist and accordion player. She spent the majority of her time employed as a cook at various establishments in the Rockford area. She also enjoyed preparing food at her home for those she loved. Suzanne also spent 25+ years of employment at J&D Oil. She supported the Lions Club and the Shriners in honor of her father. Suzanne was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her children, Randy Hardy, Becki (Curtis) Liebl, and Mishell Frazier; her grandchildren, GJourdan (Eva) Hardy, Danielle Liebl, Gabryell (Brandon) Barrigas, Alexandra (Jayden) Lindstrom, Christian (Brianna) Liebl, MCKynzie (Tyler) Frazier, Bryce Frazier, Michael Liebl, Israel Liebl, and Eliana Liebl; 7 great-grandchildren, as well as her sisters, Cheryl Wolf, Candy (Steve) Ridlbauer, and Leslie Frint.

She is predeceased by her parents, Lester and Lorraine Heintz; her infant son, Jeffrey Allen Hardy, granddaughter, Aviella-Joy Liebl; son-in-law, Bryan Frazier; as well as her sister, Marcia Heintz.

A Limited Capacity Memorial Service for Suzanne is scheduled for Thursday, February 11 at 2PM at Sunset Funeral Home. 8800 N. Alpine Rd Machesney Park IL 61115. A visitation will be held at 1PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
