Terrance D. “Terry” Kjenner, 78, of South Beloit, IL, passed away peacefully, Wednesday evening, January 12, 2022 at Beloit Memorial Hospital. He and his twin brother, Dennis were born on March 30, 1943 in Rockford, IL, the son of Ruben and Evelyn (Carlson) Kjenner. Terry proudly served the United States Army. He was a tool grinder at numerous manufacturing companies in Rockford until his retirement. Terry accepted Jesus Christ as a young boy and had a strong foundation in his faith. Terry married Sharon Hendrick on December 30, 1996. He had a knack for playing the harmonica, dancing and gardening, especially growing tomatoes. Terry enjoyed collecting coins and knives. He was fondly known as the family auto mechanic for several family members. Terry will be deeply missed.
Terry is survived by his loving daughters, Charlene (Jim) Peters and Christine (Charles) Garrett; grandchildren, Andrew Gravelle, Kacy (Michael) Kaemke and Morgan (Nathan) Tennant; great-grandchildren, Addison and Charlotte; twin brother, Dennis Kjenner; brother, Alan Kjenner; sister, Cindy (Gil) Wierschke, Jr.; nephew, Steven Kjenner; nieces, Kim (Jon) Graham, Deborah Kjenner, Laura Burgett and April Wierschke; special great-niece, Kara Kjenner; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sharon, brother Randall Kjenner, sister Angela Kjenner and nephew, Daniel Rosinski.
