Terry A. Barnes, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, October 23, 2023, at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. Terry was born in Rockford to Burl and Anna (Harvey) Barnes on October 5, 1942. He married Donna L. Loy on September 9, 1972. Terry retired from J. L. Clark after 40 years as a forklift and truck driver. He was a loyal Atlanta Braves fan. In his retirement, he became an avid and loyal patron of Johnny Pamcakes.
He is survived by the love of his life of 51 years, Donna Barnes; children, Tina (Gary) Enna, Terri (Mike) Houseweart, and Carl Rarrick; grandchildren, Curt (Jen), Amber, Cody (Cameron), Kori (Venus), Christopher, and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Kendall, Kensington, Makayla, Noah, Winter, and Tommy; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Anna; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; son-in-law, Dave Greenwood; daughter-in-law, Vivian Rarrick; his favorite companion, Twinkee.
