Starr has been my friend since 1972. She had a gift of conversation with any and all. We shared deep talks, frivolous silliness, fine dining and dive bars. The gambit. One memory was driving a U-Haul to Minneapolis in 1974. Starr said it used as much oil as it did gas. She was a mentor and my life is better for knowing her. Rock on, Starr.

Starr, I’ll never forget when I met you and Deb! It was at Ro and KT’s New Years Party. I thought you were the funniest person I have ever met. Every year I would look forward to seeing you again. I’m sure you’re up in heaven now making someone laugh! Till I see you again! Keep laughing!! RIP

I am so sorry for your loss. Starr was such a big presence. So dang funny. So many memories over so many years. Working together, after work shenanigans, playing cards, and on and on. Know I’m thinking about you and hope to see you.

Deb, your poem is beautiful. Love and prayers to you and all of Starr’s friends. I only met her a couple times but I know what a loving friend she was to many and I know she was hilarious. Joe and I crack up every time I hear the “Aye Matey” story. Rest peacefully Starr!

My life started when I met A and Starr and Deb. No one laughed as much, had more fun. Life seems empty without you. No words can describe how much I loved you. Until we meet, again, my dear friend.

"If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun." The fabulous Katherine Hepburn would be SO proud of you Starr! You are our most cherished rule-breaker and will be greatly missed. We love you and will be forever grateful for being in your audacious orbit. Your pals, T & Deb

Deb & Family,
I just heard the news and am so very sorry for your loss.
I have soooo many great memories of Starr and even though I haven't seen you both in many years since moving to Florida years ago, I will always cherish the good times with Starr and you both!
She was such a joy to be around and provided so many smiles to so many people in her life including me. Her laugh was contagious and still makes me smile to this day. My thoughts are with you all.

Starr Mooorrgan
We had wonderful times Starr. In all wild phases of your gusto for life. You introduced me to lots of your posse and I laughed more with you then anyone else I have known. Doug and I met you early on when we moved to Minneapolis and your place on Park Avenue with the Reum job. Your death makes me feel that my quilt of life is unraveling. Saying goodbye to you and the countless others that have died in my lifetime. Bill and I will pray for you today and in our gratitudes thank you for bringing so much of yourself to us.

I wrote a poem for you the day you passed. It gives me comfort.
LYMI, Debbie

In the stillness she is near,
She might be present in her lair,
Or possibly circling on high,
Then falling and rising like a firefly
As she slips by
Her star shines bright,
For she knows the secrets of the Heavens tonight......
