

DENVER CO. Warren F. “Bud” Carlson, 92, died Monday, September 14, 2015. Born November 16, 1922, in Kingston, IL to Reuben E. and Ida M. (Rowan) Carlson. Warren worked for 41 years as a machinist for Rockford Screw Products. He loved farming and worked on the family farm. He appreciated the beauty of the land and embraced all that nature provided. Home was on Long Meadow Ln. in Rockford where he lived for over 50 years. Warren enjoyed all sports and on many occasions would bring his sons and neighborhood kids to the East High fields for the softball games. He cheered on the Bulls, enjoyed boating and GM vehicles. His later years included culinary breakfast prep and gardening.
Survivors: sons, Robert “Scott” and Dennis Carlson; grandchildren, Kameron (Ted) Blanchard, Allison (Chris) Theiss, Hunter Carlson, Katrina (Matt) Lynde; great-grandchildren, Chase and Ashton Blanchard and Lucas Lynde. Predeceased by: parents; brothers, Lee and Raymond; sisters, Mary Louise Carlson and Imojean “Jean” (Robert) Doherty; special friend, Bernice “Beno” Johnson.
