Yvonne M. Cuthbertson

Yvonne M. Cuthbertson, 81, of Poplar Grove passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. Yvonne was born on October 30, 1940 in Dearborn, MI; the daughter of Donald Russel and Dorothy McDonald. Survivors include her children: Yvette (Noah) Sanders, Tina Severson, Mary (Ray) Gimenez, Ron Cuthbertson and Gloria (Brian) Fortune; Brother Donald Russell; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harlan “Corky” Cuthbertson, parents, sister, son Russell Severson and great-grandson Gabriel Henze. Family wishes to give special thanks to the nurses and staff of ProMedica Hospice. A visitation for Yvonne will be held Friday, August 12, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, Illinois 61115, followed by a service to celebrate Yvonne's life at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ray Gimenez officiating. Yvonne will be laid to rest at Chapel of Peace in Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL 61115.
