Andrew “Andy” Norris Meadows, 43, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. A Liturgy will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Deacon Don Coates officiating. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All About Animals, 101 Riverside Drive, Macon GA 31201.
Andy was born in Augusta, Georgia to Joyce and John Meadows. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Mary Baird and Jack and Betty Meadows. Andy graduated from Mount DeSales Academy in 1997 and attended Georgia College and State University. He then served in the United States Navy for two years. His love was teaching tennis and pickleball. He played in many pickleball tournaments locally.
Survivors include his siblings Mary Elizabeth Meadows Anderson (Phillip), Emily Meadows Ellison (William), and Jack Meadows (Caitlin). He was close to his aunts Nancy Baird Crosby (John) and Laura Meadows Bechtel (Gary) and he absolutely loved his niece, Caroline Anderson.
