

MACON – Eloise G. Edwards, 87, passed away Thursday, December 08, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. The Rev. Rodney McCant and the Rev. Ronnie Griffin will officiate. The family will meet friends from 1 p.m. to service time on Saturday at the funeral home. They suggest that memorial gifts be made to your charity of choice.
Mrs. Edwards, daughter of the late James Lester Greenway and Elsie Hatcher Greenway, was born in Soperton and had lived in Macon most of her life. She was bookkeeper retired from Pilot Club International. Mrs. Edwards was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene and attended Shurlington Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert J. Greenway and her sisters, Doris Juanita Greenway, Gladys Greenway Adcock and Lassie Greenway Taylor.
Survivors include her husband, Leverette Edwards of Macon; her nieces, Maranah Adcock (Steve) Sauter of Lagrange, Sonja Taylor of Daytona Beach, FL and Barbara Greenway Rassmussen of Arizona; her nephews, Robert L. (Joy) Greenway of Cape May, NJ and Curtis (Sharon) Greenway of Pasadena, MD; a number of great nieces and great nephews.
