Barbara Watts McKinney

Barbara Ann Watts McKinney, 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 5, 2025. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. at 10:00 a.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Bass Road with the Rev. Joe McDaniel officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3040 Riverside Drive, Macon GA 31210.

Barbara was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Wayland Merle Watts, Sr. and Allie Bernice Carleton Watts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Lee McKinney, Jr. and her siblings, Jean Watts Jackson, Charles Carroll Watts, and Wayland Merle Watts, Jr. Barbara was a homemaker, master gardener, and an avid tennis player, and a member of Northway Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation and love for the care given to Mrs. Barbara at Madison Heights now known as Pruitt-Wesleyan.

She is survived by her children, Mickie (Sterling) Bailey of Macon, Julie McKinney of Colorado Springs, Otis Lee (Angie) McKinney III of Macon, grandchildren, Brian DeMichiel, Adam (Courtney) Bailey, Allie (Eli) Grambling, Nikki Goumas, great grandchildren, Walker Bailey and Boone and Tate Grambling, Kamille Whiton and Nicholas Goumas, step grandchildren, Michelle Joyner and Brandon Evans and several nieces and nephews.
