Benjamin Anthony Gunnells, 48, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Bass Road. Ben was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Kelly Lanier Gunnells, Jr. and Judith Gunnells. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed watching the University of Georgia football games, and he enjoyed music. His favorite band was Widespread Panic and he loved the community he found at music shows. Ben was a devoted and loving husband and son.
He is survived by his wife, Kristina Mighty Gunnells, mother, Judith Gunnells of Macon, his cat Bear, and his sister and her children.
