Berdia Jean Bohannon

BYRON – Berdia Jean Bohannon, 67, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2011 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Monty D. February officiating. The family will meet friends from 5 – 7 p.m., Monday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue.

Mrs. Bohannon, daughter of the late Nadine Warren Swearingen and Theodore Swearingen, was a devoted homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Albert Preston Bohannon of Byron; her children, Rodney (Terry) Bohannon, Lisa Wilday and Joey (Janice) Bohannon; grandchildren, Bradley (Crystal) Rahn, Nikki Rahn, Justin Bohannon, Josh Bohannon, Billy Ray Bohannon, Johnathan Smyth and Tosha (Mike) McCandless; great grandchildren, Alex Rahn, Savannah Rahn, Destiny Smith, Scott McCandless, Victoria McCandless and Brittany McCandless; great-great grandchildren, Samuel McCandless and Zachary Melton and her sister, Minnie (Rick) Outler.
