Your Mama was such a sweet sweet lady! I loved seeing her at Carlyle Place when I visited Mama and Daddy. Ben, Ginger, and I were so sorry to hear of her passing.
I remember all the times we came to your pool when we were kids. Your Mama always had a big smile for us. We had fun there.
I know she will be missed by all of you and all those who love her. Now we know she is at peace.
May God bless all of you at this sad time.

I am so thankful for the privilege of having known Mrs. Bess. I worked at OB/GYN for many years and truly loved and felt loved by Dr. Shirley, Sr, Mrs. Bess and Dr. Shirley, Jr. Mrs. Bess was a true southern lady had the gift of making everyone feel important. I know you will all miss her, but I am sure she is in heaven now with Dr. Shirley and they are having one more good time. She was very proud of her family. Heaven just gets sweeter!
I am so glad to see that Peggy and Marilyn were able to help her in her later days.... Just the old bunch together!
