I remember Bessie by her sweet caring personality. She loved to cook and love for family and friends to come during the holidays to enjoy her good cooking. January 30, 2016, even though she had been suffering from bad health, she drove alone from her house in Macon to Evans, GA to attend our daughter, Suzanne's funeral. I could tell that she was in pain, but she hug us and said I would not have missed this funeral for anything in the world. She went on to say how much she loved, Jessie, myself and children. We dearly loved Bessie too. I am looking forward to spending time visiting with Bessie when we arrive in heaven to be with Jesus, our family and loved ones. Until we meet in heaven, we will continue to serve God until he calls us home to be with him. Your Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law, John and Dr. Jessie Stewart, Evans, Georgia.

Bessie was our neighbor for a short time at Melton Place. She was a sweet and caring Christian woman. We had many talks in her living room. She was such a blessing and her wit and humor was always a time I looked forward to with our chats. Prayers love and hugs to the family. Bessie was a mess! She loved adventure. Kind to people and loving to people but please do not get her mad! She loved working at DFCS and the people there. Her cooking was great and so were her coconut cakes. She would talk about her family and loved them so much. ...even talked about the granddogs! Bessie and I had many a long talk about everything and nothing. Charlie and I enjoyed her coming over to eat with us. No longer needing a walker or cane - she has her angel winds and is busy flying around making time up. No more night, no more pain ........
