Charlie, Bill & Isabelle,
I was saddened to hear the news about your Mom. Having grown up at Highland Hills Baptist Church, I remember her well. She was a winsome, gracious, southern lady with a smile that lit up the room. What a legacy she left you. I know you will miss her. And I will too.

I was so sorry to learn of “Mrs. Heard’s “ death. I remember her so well from Highland Hills Baptist Church. Her entire family was very active and I believe, as a teenager, I enjoyed working in the nursery and seeing Isabelle, Charlie and Bill.
I also remember “Mr. Heard” as well.
It is hard watching the contemporaries of my parents pass away.
Isabelle, Charlie and Bill I send my deepest sympathy. Your parents were such nice people!

To the family of Betty Heard: It was with much sadness that I learned of the passing of Betty. I always sought Betty out when I was in the common area of Carlyle and tried to converse with her, especially about Charlie, whom I taught at Stratford Academy. I shall miss seeing this fine lady; and I hope Betty rests in peace.
As for the family of Betty, please accept my condolences in this difficult time; and, I wish for you peace as well.
