When I came to work at the WT Anderson Health Center (formerly MCCG Ambulatory Care Clinic), Betty adopted my husband, Joe Richard, and I in to her family. What special memories we have of her. Whenever she went in to visit my husband at his place of business while in town running errands, she always introduced herself as his girlfirend. They loved to tease each other. Just want you to know the entire family is in our prayers as know how deeply each of you loved her and she loved you. Becky, you have been the most loving and devoted daughter, whom she always spoke of with endearment. She may have not been able to tell you lately how much she loved and appreciated the great care you gave her in her later years when she was no longer able to live by herself, but any mother would have been proud to be so well attended to and loved. May you each feel the presence of the Holy Spirit, and the peace you can rest in knowing she passed in to Glory Land and is praising her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.
With love and prayers, Joe "Richard" and Barbara Collins

I have known Betty since she "adopted" me( and so many other scared, young students) as a student nurse in the early 60's. She had such a loving ,caring personality and exhibited her Christian life in her everyday activities. As a ward secretary, then unit manager and subsequently as a peer when she was our Business Manager, when I was Nurse Manager in the Ambulatory Care Unit.
I know just how much she adored and loved her family. I know you all will miss that dear one,who made such a difference to so many.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We will miss you, MarMar. It is with happy thoughts to know that you are in Heaven and free from pain and suffering. Praying for peace and comfort for everyone who loved you. I am grateful for the way you cherished your family and the joy I got to see you display as your great-grandchildren were born and going forward. The Lord has a treasure in His company, now.

Love you always, Lauren
