Carole Joiner London, 88, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 29, 2022 at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Bass Road. Burial will be private for family only in Riverside Cemetery. Dr. Jimmy Long and Rev. Kevin Mills will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service and asks in lieu of flowers donations be made to Northway Church - Faith for the Future or Grace Fellowship of Greensboro, Georgia. We would like to thank the Carlyle at Home, Stafford Suites, and Harrington House staff for the excellent care they rendered both before and during her stay at Carlyle Place.
Mrs. London was born in Macon, Georgia, the daughter of the late Claude and Gwendolyn Thames Joiner and was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Jack C. London. She was retired after 50+ years of rocking babies at both Vineville Baptist Church and Northway Church. Mrs. London spent her life ministering to her family and her church. She had a servant’s heart volunteering with Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Vine-Ingle Little League, Stratford Academy among many others.
Mrs. London is survived by her son, Matt London and his wife, Donna; daughter, Nancy Long and her husband, Jimmy; grandchildren, Grace London and her husband, Erik, Emily London Knight and her husband, Dallas, Jackie Long Carman and her husband, Jonathan, and Jay Long and his wife, Lacie and their son, Baylor; sister-in-law, Barbara Brack and her husband, Elliott; cousin, Tina Coe; numerous nieces and nephews.
