Carolyn Young Patrick

Betty Carolyn Young Patrick, 74, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Cryptside services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday in the chapel of Glen Haven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with the Rev. Larry Partain officiating. The family will meet friends from 5 – 7 p.m., Tuesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue.

Mrs. Patrick, wife of the late Valda Patrick, was born in Wheeler County the daughter of the late James West Young and Eudell Waters Young. She loved gardening, especially her roses and was an avid scary movie fan. Mrs. Patrick was a devoted homemaker, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.

She is survived by those who loved and will miss her most, her children, Twila (Ricky) Addison of Gray, Dewayne (Montez) Arnold of Macon, Tangie (Frank) Moroney of Roberta and Bryan Patrick of Lizella; her six beloved grandchildren and four great grandchildren; her sister, Farrell Mitchell of McRae and her brother Bobby (Betty) Young of McRae.
