Catherine Louise A. Glass

Catherine A. Glass, 95, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon., Friday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Timothy Peavy and the Rev. Carlisle Driggers will officiate. Her grandsons and great grandson will serve as pall bearers. The family will meet friends from 10 a.m. to service time on Friday at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Baptist Church, 4704 Jeffersonville Road, Macon 31217.

Mrs. Glass, wife of the late Clyde W. Glass, was born in Warner Robins the daughter of the late George L. and Mattie Bell Adair. She worked in Admitting at the Medical Center of Central Georgia and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Glass was a member of Faith Baptist Church where she served as church secretary, pianist and in the nursery. Mrs. Glass was the mother of the late Gene Walston Glass.

Survivors include her sons, Robert (Dottie) Glass of Macon and Lee (Donna) Glass of Eatonton; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; her sister, Peggy Land of Macon; several cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends, brothers and sisters in Christ.
