Charles Donald “Don” Burnham, 76, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Pastor Kenny Hamm will officiate. The family will meet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. The family suggest that those who wish may make memorial contributions to Victory Baptist Church, 5687 Houston Road, Macon, GA 31216 or to the Alzheimers Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201.
Mr. Burnham was born in Dodge County but lived most of his life in Macon. He was a banking officer retiring after thirty years from Nations Bank. Don was a realtor in Houston County and was a member of Central Georgia Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club. Don was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by those he loved most, his wife, Cindy Burnham; his son, Blake (Sherry) Burnham; beloved grandchildren, Donnie (Bridget) Burnham, Katy (Chris) Wilson, Amelia Grace Burnham, Grant (Shellie) Powers and Cassie (Zach) Kenney; his great grandchildren, Shelby, Savannah, Josh, Hailey and River Burnham , Madison and Carson Wilson and Brady Powers; his mother-in-law, Mary Martin and brother-in-law Ken (Penny) Martin.
