I have so many fond memories over so many years of being a friend and co-worker with Charles. Not only was he my Firefighter Brother, he also was a Great Friend who had a quick witted sense of humor and loved to instigate pranks and all manner of foolishness. We also worked together down at Luther Williams Baseball Field providing Stadium Security and other related activities for the Macon Braves. Working there at the ball park with Charles was always a hoot because he had such a fun personality. Charles was a solid guy that loved his Family and Friends unconditionally. I will truly miss him and will always have fond memories of our friendship and time together. I and my Family send Pam and Chad and Family our most sincere and loving condolences during this time of great sorrow. We also want to say to Audrey that we know this has been heartbreaking for you as well because "Ole Geezer" was like a Brother to you in so many ways. May God grant you all Peace and Comfort now and in the years ahead. Rest now Brother ...You have served your Family,Friends and Community Well...

Dear Family, I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I have fond memories of Fritz, as we all called him over the years, through the many years he worked as a bailiff and deputy. He always had a smile and we shared many laughs during that time. I also ran in many of the road races he took part in and I admired his competitive spirit. I know he'll be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was saddened to hear about my long-time friend, Charles. I, having worked for the Bibb County Sheriff's for twenty years--Charles and many other firemen worked as bailiffs in our courtrooms, and as security guards. What good times we had! Pam and Chad, so very sorry.

So sorry to hear that my friend has passed on. Fritz was a faithful friend to the courts of Bibb County for many years as he served with distinction as a bailiff. He always was a positive man with a great sense of humor despite working with some of our most difficult citizens. He was a good man. I am grateful for the privilege of having been his friend. We will miss him at the courthouse.
