Charles "Tom" Scott

Charles Thomas “Tom” Scott, 61, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016 in a local hospital. A Celebration of His Life will be held on Saturday, July 9 at 11 a.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street, with the Rev. Nicholas Morgan officiating. The family will greet friends on Friday, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 4406, Macon, 31208.

Tom was born in Milledgeville to Charles Milton “Bo” and Betty Hardegree Scott. He was preceded in death by his father, his wife of thirty-three years, Deborah Ann Goggans Scott, and his sister, Susan Scott. Tom worked at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in the Information Services Department. He enjoyed computer programming and loved his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Will (Ivy) Scott and Alison Scott; grandchildren, Charles Harper Scott and Millie D’Ann Scott; mother, Betty Scott; brothers, Jon Scott and Michael Scott; and several nieces and nephews.
