Chris R. Presley

Chris R. Presley, 54, passed away on July 30, 2010. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 2, 2010, at 2P.M. at Lawrence Drive Baptist Church. Rev. Brad Marchman, Rev. Sean Beck and Rev. Phil Bryant will officiate. The family will greet friends at Snow's Memorial Chapel on Pio Nono Avenue, Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.

Mr. Presley was born in 1955 to the late Joe Presley and Bessie Addleton. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Mr. Presley was a graduate of Southwest High School and attended Macon Junior College. He was retired from Brown & Williamson after 30 years and was currently working with Middle Georgia Freightliner Isuzu. He was a devoted husband and father and loved all aspects of life, from the outdoors to cooking. He had a tender heart for animals and loved his pets. He was an active member of Lawrence Drive Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Helena Hughes Presley of Macon; two sons, Brian (Kelley) Presley of St. Augustine, FL and Joel Presley of Macon; one sister, Darlene (Robert) Addleton Rozier of Macon as well as many nieces and nephews.
