BYRON – Christy Whitten Hales, 43, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at a local hospital. The family will meet friends from 5 – 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 28th with the memorial service to follow at 7 p.m. at the World of Faith Ministries. The Rev. William Davis will officiate.
Ms. Hales, daughter of the late Harold and Helen Grimsley Whitten, was born in Macon and was a lifelong resident of this area. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her four-legged companions, Pug and Max; her brothers and sisters, Kathy and Jimmy Freeman, Connie and Jimmy Buchanan and Ronnie and Barbara Hayes; nieces and nephews, Sandy and Robert (Frog) Herman, Matt Manning, Shelley and Tony Costella, Chelsea Peyton, Kasie Pryor and Ashley Peyton, Shannon, Becky, Seth and Harley Killgo.
