Clinton Edward Thompson

Clinton E. Thompson passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021. The Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, 3077 Pio Nono Ave. with Rev. Ed Chambliss officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Due to COVID-19, all attendees are required to wear mask and adhere to social distancing.

Mr. Thompson was born in Hazelhurst, Georgia to the late George and Hattie Kersey Thompson, Sr. He was a faithful member of Mikado Baptist Church.

Mr. Thompson is survived by his loving wife, Weda R. Thompson; daughter, Jeannie Whitman; son, Donnie Thompson (Debra); grandchildren, Jennifer Beck (Joe), Karen Sapp (Stephen), Teresa Darsey (Jess), Ryan Thompson, Katie Thompson, Curtis Thompson, and Richard Thompson (Denise); fifteen great grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his son, Curtis Clinton Thompson Sr. and daughter-in-law, Ann Thompson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mikado Baptist Church, 6751 Houston Road, Macon, GA 31216.

I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Edward's passing this morning. As a child, I remember him as always having a smile and teasing a little.
